I have just got the wireless keyboard and mouse combo mentioned in the
title, set it up and ... nothing. Linux does not recognize it.

Looking in the /var/log/messages, I see a lot of

Does anybody have any of the Microsoft wireless combos running under
Linux? Any idea what might be wrong?

The wireless receiver is plugged into a powered motherboard port, so
that cannot be the cause. I have tried it on two computers. The old
Toshiba laptop didn't see the device at all. Nothing in the logs.

Should I take it back?
