The temporary command is 'modprobe emu10k1' but you have to make sure that the window system not using the sound card. In order to make the change permanent, you need to modify /etc/modules file to add the module manually. Just add emu10k1 to the last line. Be sure to read the comment at the top of the file, Suse may be slightly different than Debian but there should be some information under the /etc/modules file.
