I'm on Debian at work and the sysadmin likes things
stable and thus rather out-of-date. I'd like to have
Opera (sessions addict), the newest Emacs22,
Acroreader7 without rocking the boat too much. Could I
install such (rather large) apps as a regular user to
my home directory? I guessing Opera and Acro might
fly, but Emacs...not sure.
