i don't know of any  online resources that discuss the IOs of  
spreadsheets.  but when i found that i was running up against the wall  
with my knowledge of some of excel's deeper voodoo, i found the  
following books quite helpful.

while it might be fashionable to hate MS in some crowds.  excel and  
word are 2 applications that  i happen to have a tremendous amount of  
respect for.  powerpoint on the other hand ... ;-)
