A better way to do this:

If someone asks a question that can be answered with a Google search, then 
you might either just post a Google link, like this one...

http://www.google.com/search?q=Knoppix+3.6+iso

...or you might ignore the question.  If you really want to help, you 
might ask for clarification -- maybe you misunderstood the question or it 
was not well formed.

If you make sarcastic comments about the skills of the person who posed 
the question, it makes it look like you are showing off -- "look how easy 
it was for me!"  It definitely seems rude.  Then it takes up extra time 
for you, first to compose a sarcastic comment, then to respond to people 
who are offended by it, etc.  Thus, people who write such sarcastic 
replies to legitimate questions must be either inexperienced with email 
lists or they just can't find good ways to spend their time.
