I think it should work OK for you. Give it a shot. I have been using a 
486DX-33 with not a lot of RAM (32MB max.) for a number of years and I 
haven't ever had any problems. I have run various pieces of software on 
it from the single floppy disk Coyote Linux to Smoothwall 2.0 beta. 
Everything seemed equally fast. After Comcast doubled the download speed 
for cable modem users, I was still getting the maximum speeds they 
claimed I should see.
