In FC2 I'm able to get my modem to connect to my ISP just fine with system-config-network by just "activating" the modem (once ISP info is stuck in), but if I try to connect using kppp, I connect fine, but cannot see past the remote host, i.e., I can ping the remote host IP address, but nothing past that, not even the ISP's DNS IP addresses. Any ideas why one way works fine, the other (more intended way) doesn't?
