hey all, i've been through the software raid howto and i didn't see this addressed. does anyone know if it is possible to boot linux from a software raid0/5 setup, or do i need to mount / from another partition and mount the raid fs later? i'm looking at a new system and i'd like to play with raid but i don't want to drop $100+ for a hardware sata card just yet. also, would there be any problems with such a setup co-existing with windows on the same drive?
