After installing Fedora Core 1 on a Compaq Armada M700 I'm getting an
odd mouse thing.

When the system boots it starts the "USB" mouse and keyboard.
I have a PS/2 mouse plugged in to the machine (track points are nice
but...)
Three times now I've run "startx" (after restarts or halts) and the
mouse wont run.
I "ctrl+alt+del & alt+l" to exit X windows.
I run "gpm" (it tells me it's already running) then "startx" and the
mouse works.

Is this something I should report to Fedora?

I'm thinking of updating the BIOS of the machine if a USB bug exists. I
still have to check the
Compaq/HP site.

Sam.
