Hi, I'm in the market for a new soundcard. I have a cheapo card right now (Cirrus Logic, I think), which is fine, but it makes this god awful pink noise (it does this under windows, too). The linux support for the card is fine, I just want a better sound card. I was wondering what is the best bet for linux (kernel) support? I don't want to run into trouble like I did with my aureal vortex -- horrible mistake. Something equivalent or higher to 4.1 support would be nice for any recommendations, also.
