I just built a new box, and it's been a while since I've had to setup Sylpheed. After installing and building it, when I start up Sylpheed it shows up in Japanese. Text of the messages that is. I did some googling, and the only answer I could find was to set the LANG variable. I tried setting that to LANG="en_US" and well as LC_ALL to the same with no success. In comparing between old and new setups of sylpheed, it looks like I have everything set up properly. Anyone have some other ideas to get it to display in English?
