Personally I like Damn Small Linux 
(http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/download.html),
or Insert Linux (http://www.inside-security.de/insert_en.html).
Both run fluxbox, fit on a 50M CD, and include a nice set of apps, and 
can download Mozilla Firebird if you got enough bandwidth/space.  It 
wouldn't be hard to go into either of these and remove some apps that 
you don't need if your keychain doesn't have the space.
