Wow! I haven't heard the words "Norton Commander" for years. My only 
issue is disk space, the machine I'm using only has a 200mb disk and 40 
of that is swap.  I have about 56mb free and I'm being very stingy about 
using disk space. I'll look in to "mc" because I would to see a visual 
tree of the Debian Linux file system.
