I've looked at a few reviews.  I think the big complaint is that it
doesn't (yet) have USB 2.0, plus a lot of people consider it to be bulky
(apparently, it's available at CompUSA, so interested parties might want
to check there).  It sounds like the company is making quite an effort
to respond to the concerns of customers (it even appears that they're
offering to replace the old USB 1.1 "backpack" with a USB 2.0 version). 
It's kind of weird, though -- almost as if they're selling a beta
version of the player.  One way to work the bugs out, I guess.

These guys are on my short list for when I finally pick out a portable
music player, but that's just because they are planning on supporting
Ogg Vorbis and they've been the most vocal about their planned support. 
Because the recommendation of the Vorbis developers is to only buy
players when the format is known to work in shipping versions (either
out-of-the-box or with firmware updates), it looks like I still have to
hold off on buying one.
