[TCLUG] wierd rh8.0 behavior

Pretty old, so it probably has nothing to do with you, but a very old
password gathering method was to put login somewhere, replacing it with a
script which looked like login was running, trapped the password and did
nefarious things with it, showed a failure and called the real, relocated
login

I have a Redhat 8.0 box that recently started asking for the root
password twice when I "su -".

Any ideas?
