I'm, no expert either, but I thought the limit was around 56x or
58x.  Maybe at 58x the disc is guaranteed to explode, and at 52x it's
possible.  Guess I now have a good reason to stop buying cheap CD-Rs.

I also congratulate the poster on accomplishing this, please post pictures
if available! :-)
