Ah duh. Sorry, but I found this with a simple google search. Append a .org and you wouldn't even need a search engine. Okay, sorry for the bad manners. Got a hang nail. So, is building a Linux system from scratch a good idea. I've read the hype on the site, but things like that tend to be bias. I'm still working from Mandrake Linux 7.1 and am wondering if I should chuck it all and go for this Slackware, or buy 8.0, or upgrade just parts...I don't know? Right now, I'm looking for some middleware. I'm thinking JSP or PHP. I prefer JSP since I'm a Java hound, but another project of mine doesn't support it, only PHP. Can anyone give me direction here? -=- cpopin ----- Original Message ----- From: "Loren Burlingame" <theixian at hotmail.com> To: <tclug-list at mn-linux.org> Sent: Sunday, May 26, 2002 5:43 PM Subject: Re: [TCLUG] Slackware 8.1 release date > http://www.slackware.org > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Matt Waters" <m68kprogrammer at icqmail.com> > To: <tclug-list at mn-linux.org> > Sent: Sunday, May 26, 2002 3:48 PM > Subject: [TCLUG] Slackware 8.1 release date > > > > Does anyone have any idea when slackware 8.1 will be officially released? > > > > Matt Waters's Infinite Wisdom #18: "Firecrackers, > > gasoline, and bored youth do not mix." > > > > New wisdom every week! > > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------- > > Sign up for ICQmail at http://www.icq.com/icqmail/signup.html > > _______________________________________________ > > Twin Cities Linux Users Group Mailing List - Minneapolis/St. Paul, > Minnesota > > http://www.mn-linux.org > > tclug-list at mn-linux.org > > https://mailman.mn-linux.org/mailman/listinfo/tclug-list > > > _______________________________________________ > Twin Cities Linux Users Group Mailing List - Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota > http://www.mn-linux.org > tclug-list at mn-linux.org > https://mailman.mn-linux.org/mailman/listinfo/tclug-list > >
