It's not the banks or consultants you need to market too, it's the ATM manufactures. People like NCR (a former employeer), IBM, etc. Their the ones who stick the OS on the hardware. NCR use to have a proprietary OS for their ATMs. They found it cheaper to just plug in a single board PC and dos and add their own application.
