Just a reminder, there are only a few more days to get in your comments regarding the proposed settlement between Microsoft, the DOJ, and nine States. Jeremy White of CodeWeavers has a good page summarizing what you need to do to comment on the case http://www.codeweavers.com/~jwhite/tunney.html He says that comments will be accepted through the 28th, though I've mostly heard the 26th, so if you're going to make any comments in the case, do so immediately. I finally decided to post my comments, since they seem to be different than what most other people have written and posted. I tried to emulate (to an extent) the legalese that I've seen come up in other public comment periods, but I'm probably just weird.. http://www.tc.umn.edu/~hick0088/files/ms-settle-comment.txt -- _ _ _ _ _ ___ _ _ _ ___ _ _ __ BREAKFAST.COM Halted... / \/ \(_)| ' // ._\ / - \(_)/ ./| ' /(__ Cereal Port Not Responding. \_||_/|_||_|_\\___/ \_-_/|_|\__\|_|_\ __) [ Mike Hicks | http://umn.edu/~hick0088/ | mailto:hick0088 at tc.umn.edu ] -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
