Yaron replied to this already but it deserves restating. Stripping the Cat5 before punching/crimping is an absolute no-no. The clips/jacks are designed with the intention of piercing insulation and using it to hold the cable tight. Yes Yaron, I realize this doesn't apply to you in your case, but as general info I want to make that clear to anyone wondering :-). -Brian
