	You'll have a lot of hacking to do, since Linux requires a 386 at a bare 
minimum. Remember, Linus started Linux in part to take advantage of the 
extensions Intel added to the 386. Nevertheless, should you manage to port 
Linux to a 286, you would definitely get a mention on Slashdot, so if fame is 
what you're after, go for it. :)
