I am trying to help someone resolve this problem. They have a Novell Groupwise mail server, which has always worked fine. We have added a test RedHat server using sendmail, and Squirrelmail. Both boxes can send and receive anywhere, but we always get a "Deferred Connection refused" (in our sendmail logs) when sending mail from the RedHat box to the Groupwise box. In case it matters, we had our ISP list the new server as webmail.domain.com.
