Put a gateway behind your wireless 'net, run FreeS/WAN on that gateway
with support for X.509 certs, etc, and then config Win2k/PGPNet to connect
to the VPN for all traffic.

As safe as it gets..

I haven't actually done it this way for Windows, but I have set it up with
Linux on the client + gw..
