Hi there, I know which Microsoft SQL and Veritas Backup exec I need to either install the Veritas SQL agent or scedule MsSQL to do a database dump to a file every night to be sure I have a valid backup of that data. I assume the procedure is somewhat the same with MySQL regardless the backup software I use? For now I'm toying with Kbackup .... I would like to avoid having to kill mysqld backing up and then restarting if at all possible. Any ideas? -- ----------------------------- |\/|ike at GetBent.net
