Hi

Don't know if it'll make any difference, but I'd feel a little uncomfortable
with the field empty. I think I'd use /dev/null as the homedir, assuming it
doesn't do something to postfix

Don't know, but you can do it the long way around and...
1 - Create the user.
2 - Delete the home dir ( rm -rf /home/postfix ).
3 - Remove the home dir from /etc/passwd ( Carefully AFTER you backup the
file ).
