That's why you akamize them.  :)

Just append the akamai stuff in front of the URL you want to cache:
http://a516.g.akamai.net/7/516/1/f15ee829e2faf2/www.slackware.com/something/
morestuff/whatever.iso

Of course, I don't think akamai would be too happy if they found out.  Slow
downloads on stuff that gets posted on slashdot always goes faster once you
post a URL like the above to the comments section as a mirror.  Come back an
hour later, and it's all spiffy and fast.  :)
