I ran into 2 problems with Qwest DSL that may or may not be related. The
first problem was the result of a faulty water-meter reader. Everytime
the water company would dial up the meter, it would kill our phone
service. The other problem resulted from a second phone line coming into
the house. Billing had been stopped for it but it was never disconnected
at the switch, so DSL service contantly dropped. Not quite your problem
but 2 more things to check out :)
