In the Reynauld article, he makes the point that a lot of people just
don't get the multi-user aspect of Linux.   I think that's fine; why
doesn't someone do a focused single-user workstation distro?  

The only "special purpose" distros I can think of are things like LRP,
real-time linux (not our Real-Time), embedded linuces, etc.  Make one that
defaults to single-user mode, load it up with desktop gadgets, make
preconfigured setups (i.e., the WindowMaker setup, the KDE setup, the fvwm
setup, yada, yada).

I bet everyone has *some* package installed that they haven't set up
beyond the "factory" defaults.  Maybe we just need to cater more toward
those who never venture further asea than that to be accepted on the
desktop.
