When testing was first announced, I immediately changed my sources.list, then waited 2 weeks for unstable packages to be moved into testing before doing an apt-get upgrade, and didn't have any problems. (Well, aside from the new version of lilo wanting to throw out my old config, but I just backed up the old one, restored it after installing and it still works.
