I hit the same problem with RH 6.0. The card I have is a 3Com CardBus 
10/100. The solution I found was to download, compile and install the 
latest PCMCIA source module. It worked fine after that. More recently, I 
installed Mandrake 7.2 and my card worked fine immediately.
