You could say the same thing about any OS that installs itself in the boot
sector, that's why you need to keep rescue disks around, and learn how to
re-run lilo.

There is no particular order in which you must install OS's on your system,
just make sure you have a boot disk into the OS that has your boot loader 
(grub, lilo, Proof, xosl..)
