	why couldn't you use the MAC of your existing Ethernet card? or did
they have that marked in their database as 'watch out for this guy'?

	how does VMWare come up with its MAC anyway? there must be some
algorithm whereby it randomly generates one, and then tests to see if that
one exists somewhere else on the network...
