Do not power-cycle a Linux box with Ext2 unless there is absolutely no
other possible way. However, you can upgrade to Ext3, which is designed
to gracefully restore itself after power loss, and it takes far less
time to repair than Ext2 or Windows. I'll walk you through Ext3
conversion if you want.
