What other people think of your distro doesn't matter.  If your distro
does what you need it to do, then you should be happy with it.

I'm a Red Hat user myself, used to run Slack in the early days (1993).  

I catch hell from people all the time who think Red Hat is for lamers.  We
all have our opinions, I guess...my box does what I need, so I'm content.
