Well, for anyone that wanted to know the status on my computer (Scott) heres what I left the IF with: /dev/hda1 - Windows, was reformatted (at the IF). Will mount in Linux, but will not show the information on the disc. Will not boot. /dev/hda5 - Fat32 partition. MP3's and Programs I would like to retrieve. Mounts and shows up in Linux only. /dev/hdb1 - Linux Native partition. Boots. /dev/hdb5 - Linux Swap. Works. Now, I either need to get my burner working in Linux (I have caldera, which comes with kburn) [how do I recompile the kernel for 'generic scsi emulation'?!] or get SAMBA working so I can transfer my MP3's and programs to my 233, which I am writing this on. If I reinstall Windows 98 on /dev/hda, it will take over my MBR, which has LILO on it. Ask me for more details if you need them to help me out.
