You might like to have a word with Adrian Moore <amoore@novell.com>, as
he has been contemplating this task for some time.  He is quite capable
of assisting further, in my opinion.

I'm surprised though that you did not mention the problem that most
people have had with this port the last few times, which is the lack of
inheritance of open network file descriptors into subprocesses.  How did
you cope with this?

The newstartd starts ntserv with a file descriptor set up for the
network connection that it has just accept()ed.  If you've solved this
elegantly, I might be able to get it running on OpenVMS even.

(Adrian, Darryl has achieved a running server under Windows NT).

If you want to send me a backup of your source code development tree,
please go ahead.  I can accept up to 80Mb in one mail message.
