I thought the author did a pretty fair article. I know he did his
homework. I talked to him for a total of 2-3 hours. He came out to Sibley
to look at our setup, and I went in to his office at the paper and walked
him through a RedHat install. It went really well--about 20-25 min. start
to finish. He was impressed. The day before, he'd done a Slackware install
with Volkerding on the phone.

Julio (the reporter) is definitely interested in Linux. He told me that he
plans to keep working with it and wants to set it up permanently at his
office in a dual-boot configuration.

He also seemed to get the facts right. We talked on the phone several
times while he was doing his "fact checking" so I know he wanted to avoid
errors. I really plugged TCLUG in my conversations with him so I was a bit
disappointed that TCLUG didn't get more of a mention. The sidebar on the
Linux/Windows comparison came in large part from that list you all
submitted on this mailing list. I printed it out and gave it to him.

All in all, I'd say it was a pretty positive article, and I hope that it
generates some more interest in Linux and TCLUG. A little positive press
for our school doesn't hurt either. :-)
