OK, I figured out my problem here.  According to the install file I need
libXpm 4.7 but in /usr/X11/lib I only have libXpm.so.4.11 so I guess I'll
have to do a bit of an upgrade.  Does anyone know if I can upgrade the
Xpm libraries without having to upgrade X?  Currently I am running XFree86
3.3.2.3 released this past July.
