mounting zip disk
Before I try to edit my /etc/fstab file to mount the floppy, cdrom, and
zip drive at boot, somehow I gotta get the parallel port zip drive to
mount.
Command line mount/umount cdrom and floppy is no problem.
Checked dmesg. I don't think the kernel has a driver for my zip.
That's
one theory.
>mount -t vfat /dev/sda4 /zip
gave me an error message relating to isamod driver. The folder /zip
is valid.
Slackware 3.3
don't you have to load the parallel port module 1st? ppa.o I think.
Don't have a zip drive but I think this is your problem.
try lsmod to see if it's loaded
