RE: [TCLUG:2503] Redhat 5.2 upgrade



SCSI is probably easier/better, especially if you already have a SCSI card
in your system. However, I did set up my HP 7100i IDE writer on my system a
while back and it worked very well, though you have to use SCSI emulation
for cdrecord. If you wanna go cheap, IDE is the way to go. No matter what
burner you use, however, MAKE SURE that it is on the compatibility list for
cdrecord!!!

I personally love Yamaha CD-R's They handle alot of formats.  Also SCSI is
the only way to go IMHO
