I don't know.. I think a lot of the characters were 'clustered' in a
good way..  For example, 'T' and 'H' are right next to each other on the
home row.  This makes for quick spelling of words like 'the'..

I think it's good that my fingers spend more time on the home row than
they otherwise would -- I always feel like my fingers are reaching quite
a way whenever I'm working on a QWERTY layout..  Of course, being forced
to reach out doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad thing...
