Re: [TCLUG:2546] Configuring for 2 Network Adapters



After a couple of failed tries to heed your instructions :-), I have now
hooked up the new card and the old card to my LAN, made the changes to
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth1 and /etc/conf.modules.

Now neither card is configured at bootup (ie, ifconfig shows only
loopback).  Progress of a sort but not what I'd hoped ;-(.

Back to the drawing board.  Sure wish I could remember what was on my
mind last July when we configured your system!
