mouse broken

Hi everyone,

I've got a mouse that doesn't work anymore. All was well until a few weeks
ago when we had a power outage. No X, no gpm, no nothin'. Everything
reports that the mouse doesn't exist. I've used the RedHat mouseconfig
program to set it up. I've also checked the settings manually. It's a
3-button Logitech PS/2 mouse.

How would I go about reinstalling mouse support?

An aside: I used to run Accel-X on this machine. It's the network server,
and I was trying out Accel-X because it supported the video card. I ended
up taking it off when SuSE released an X server for the Trident
3DImage975. Ever since, text-based "graphical" apps such as Linuxconf (in
text mode) are screwed up. I don't know if it's related to ncurses or
what. Do I need to reinstall some RPMs? If so, which ones?

Thanks.
