Re: [TCLUG:1859] Star Office 5.0
If you'd like to use star office 4.0, there is a wrapper rpm file
available at
ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/contrib/i386/staroffice-wrapper-4.0-9.i386.rpm .
It "wraps" the staroffice binary so you can use rpm to install it. And
there's a staroffice-libc-5.4.46-1.i386.rpm that you need to get. I used
these to get Star Office 4.0 running on my redhat 5.1 box. Just do
rpm -qip staroffice-wrapper* to see the instructions. If I remember
right, the mose difficult thing about it was creating a symlink. :-)
