Re: [TCLUG:1781] DNS server timing out



Also one suggestion that I received was to check my services file to
see what port number name is using.  I see port number 42 listed but I
thought that the standard was 53?  Here is what I'm seeing in the
services file:

name            42/udp          nameserver                            

Later on I see:

# End of services.
services          53/tcp                                              
    

Could this be a problem?  I haven't changed this file myself though.

I ran the command you suggested below and that didn't help
unfortunately.  It didn't seem to run at all but just displayed the
contents of the script.
