print server still a mystery

And you thought you were rid of me... :-)

I've been playing with this some more, and I have some more info for the
experts on the list to peruse. To review, here's the message I get when I
try to print something from the box on my desk to the print attached to
the print server in the computer lab. Also note, I can print find from the
print server itself.

[wilson@localhost wilson]$ lpr -Php4000 .bashrc
lpr: connect: Connection refused
jobs queued, but cannot start daemon.

Again, it looks like a permissions problem to me. I finally decided to
look in the print queue on my local machine. Here's what I found.

I would assume that all of these cryptic files are print jobs that have
been queued over the last few days, but not actually sent to the print
server. It seems then that my machine is not forwarding the print jobs
correctly. Any insights here?
