Re: [TCLUG:1127] diald and RedHat
I have been using diald on a RedHat 5.1 machine for about a month now.
It has been working flawlessly. I had to make a few changes to the
filter list to keep the netbios traffic from causing the link to come
up, but other than that I didn't change anything. I am using it to dial
up my modem to my isp.
To really see what's going on I'd suggest getting diald-top, which you
can get on sunsite. This lets you view the queued-up packets and tells
you info on the link. (also lets you send command to the FIFO.)
