linuxconf-1.10r34 and RedHat 5.0

Just upgraded to linuxconf-1.10r34 on a Redhat 5.0 machine. After
rebooting linuxconf fails to run the route command correctly.

Scanning the mailing lists and FAQ for linuxconf I do not find mention
of it. Anyone have this problem? Know of a fix?
