Sure, that's do-able.  If you're running redhat, the printer tool (under
control-panel) allows you to setup remote printers quite easily.  The
also provide a number of print filters so you can print text or
postscript easily.  It's also not that difficult to do it manually.  I
think the most important thing it to use the same name (for the printer)
everywhere and you won't have problems.  I can assist with setup when
you're ready (assuming a night or weekend).
