Configuration contd

   What recommendations would anyone have for what information I would
want to include in a packet that is used to reconfigure a server on a
network in case the server completely goes down and the OS needs to be re
installed? I need to write a shell script that will query the
configuration in a Red Hat box and print out all important data that will
be stuffed into an envelope and stored with the machine for other admins
who may need to reinstall in the event the server decides to take an
unexpected turn into the Twilight Zone.
